I've heard of La Kueva in Queens.
Never been there, but it's supposed to host a Rock Thursdays night which has a bunch of rock, metal bands which are also rooted in the Latin/Spanish speaking rock scene.

My band (www.myspace.com/onpointtheband) will plan a gig there soon. but I don't know much about the place. Hopefully it supports the local metal/rock scene.
